Oasis is a Faith-Based Ministry
Some people find the words “faith-based ministry” scary and we certainly understand that viewpoint. We know those feelings often come as a product of previous damaging religious experiences and we would like to put your mind at ease.
We believe that our faith-based ministry comes from a reassuring and intentional way of looking to deliver service, compassion and care to anyone no matter what their religious background or experience. At Oasis we believe in core values that guide our every decision and movement as an organization as we attempt to offer hope and peace to those we come into contact with.
In fact, the words “faith-based ministry” are what drives our organization and our team to provide extraordinary levels of service going above and beyond the call of normal duty. Our faith-based ministry is mission-driven, born out of a desire to satisfy the call to service that is spoken of in scripture and we intend to reflect those values in our relationship with you.
It is an expression of faith, knowing that serving others is the just and right thing to do. Perhaps it is easier to think of them as our “care values” instead of “core values”.
I will always show you where to go. I'll give you a full life in the emptiest of places - firm muscles, strong bones. You'll be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry. You'll use the old rubble of past lives to build anew, rebuild the foundations from out of your past. You'll be known as those who can fix anything, restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate, make the community livable again.
